      Check that the float moves smoothly between F and E.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 F (Upper End) 12.0 to 18.0 Ω
      1 - 2 E (Lower End) 405.0 to 415.0 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel sender gauge assembly.
