FUEL FILTER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  2. REMOVE FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH

    Click here

  5. REMOVE INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE

    Click here

  6. REMOVE COWL TOP INSIDE CORNER PANEL LH

    Click here

  7. REMOVE INNER COWL TOP REINFORCEMENT

    Click here

  8. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL

    Click here

  9. REMOVE FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 4 fuel hoses from the fuel filter.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Remove the bolt, and then remove the fuel filter.

  10. DRAIN FUEL


    1. Loosen the drain plug, and then use the hand pump and drain the fuel from the fuel filter.

  11. REMOVE LEVEL WARNING SWITCH

  12. REMOVE FUEL FILTER DRAIN PLUG

      Remove the fuel filter drain plug.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the drain plug.

  13. REMOVE FUEL FILTER ELEMENT


    1. Mounting the fuel filter element in a vise between aluminium plates.

      Using SST, remove the fuel filter element.
