FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FUEL SUCTION TUBE ASSEMBLY WITH PUMP AND GAUGE

  2. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAGE ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE FUEL PUMP HARNESS

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FUEL PUMP

    Click here

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT

    1. Detach the 3 claws while pushing the No. 1 fuel suction support downward.

    2. Move the left and right claws underneath the middle claw while raising the middle claw with a screwdriver and remove the No. 1 fuel suction support.

      Note

      Do not damage the No. 1 fuel suction support.

    3. A005I65

      Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 fuel suction support.

      Note

      Do not damage the No. 1 fuel suction support.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT

    A005J3S

    1. Detach the 3 claws and clamp, and remove the No. 2 fuel suction support.

      Note

      Do not damage the No. 1 fuel suction support and No. 2 fuel suction support.

  7. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the pressure regulator.

      Note

      Slowly pull out the fuel pressure regulator assembly because the O-ring are firmly installed between the regulator and No. 2 fuel suction support.

    2. A005HRK

      Remove the O-rings.
