DRIVE BELT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT


    1. A005LUW

      Set the fan and generator V belt onto each part as shown in the illustration.

    2. A005HW5

      Turn the V-ribbed belt tensioner counterclockwise and remove the 5 mm(0.19 in.) hexagon wrench.

    3. After installing the fan and generator V belt, check that it fits properly in the ribbed grooves. Confirm that the fan and generator v belt has not slipped out of the grooves on the bottom of the crank pulley by hand.
