ENGINE UNIT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE HANGER

  2. REMOVE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the oil level dipstick sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE

    Click here

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

    Click here

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

    Click here

  6. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY

    Click here

  7. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  8. REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE

    Click here

  9. REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 DELIVERY PIPE SPACER

    Click here

  11. REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  12. REMOVE EGR PIPE CONNECTOR

    Click here

  13. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

    Click here

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 INTAKE MANIFOLD TO HEAD GASKET

    Click here

  15. REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  16. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 4 bolts and remove the 4 ignition coils.

  17. REMOVE VENTILATION HOSE

      Remove the ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover.

  18. REMOVE NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE

      Remove the No. 2 ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover.

  19. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS PIPE


    1. A005I9B

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disconnect the hose and remove the No. 1 water by-pass pipe.

  20. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY


    1. A005IXH

      Remove the 2 bolts and V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly.

  21. REMOVE RADIO SETTING CONDENSER


    1. A005GXO

      Remove the bolt and radio setting condenser.
