THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005MFA

      Disconnect the wire harness clamp and mass air flow meter connector.

    2. A005GWH

      Disconnect No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose and No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose from the vacuum switching valve assembly.

    3. Disconnect the vacuum switching valve assembly connector and wire harness clamp.

      Disconnect No. 2 ventilation hose.

    5. A005K32

      Loosen the hose clamp, unlock the 2 air cleaner assembly clamps and remove air cleaner cap sub-assembly with No. 1 air cleaner hose.

  3. REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY


    1. A005KZV

      Disconnect the water by-pass hose and Disconnect No. 2 water by-pass hose.

    2. Disconnect the throttle with motor body assembly connector.

    3. A005JJW

      Remove the nut and remove the wire harness with bracket.

    4. A005J88

      Remove the 2 nuts and remove the water filler bracket with hose.

    5. A005KYJ

      Remove the bolt and 3 nuts and remove the throttle with motor body assembly.

    6. Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
