THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

    Click here

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the intake mass air flow meter connector.

    2. Disengage the wire harness clamp and separate the wire harness from the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.

      Unlock the 2 clamps.

    4. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE

    1. Separate the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the ventilation hose.

    3. A005L9P

      Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner and hose assembly.

  5. REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY


    1. A005L33

      Disengage the wire harness clamp.

    2. Disconnect the throttle with motor body assembly connector.

    3. A005GRW

      Separate the water hose from the hose clamp.

    4. Disconnect the 2 water hoses from the throttle with motor body assembly.

    5. A005M4D

      Remove the 4 bolts and the throttle with motor body assembly and wire harness bracket.

    6. Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
