INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR


    1. Install a new gasket to the intake air temperature sensor.

    2. Using a 22 mm deep socket wrench, install the intake air temperature sensor.

      Torque:
      34 N*m  { 347 kgf*cm, 25 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR TUBE

      *3 Hose Clamp

      *b Upper Side

      Install the No. 2 air tube and tighten the hose clamp.

      Torque:
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Check the torque in an hour after tightening and confirm that it is 1.8 N*m or higher.

    2. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      11 N*m  { 112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the vacuum hose.

    4. Connect the transmitting vacuum hose with the hose clamp.

      Connect the air temperature sensor connector.

      Connect the No. 2 air hose with the hose clamp.

      Torque:
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }
