DIESEL THROTTLE BODY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install a new gasket and the diesel throttle body and wire harness bracket with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:

      11 N*m  { 112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR WITH DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the new gasket to the cylinder head.

   2. Install the intake air connector with diesel throttle body assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      23 N*m  { 235 kgf*cm, 17 ft.*lbf }

   3. Connect the No. 1 oil hose and the No. 5 vacuum transmitting hose.

   4. Engage the wire harness clamp and install the wire harness with the nut.

      Torque:

      8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf }

   5. Connect the throttle body connector and the generator connector.

3. CONNECT AIR HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the air hose and tighten the 2 hose clamps.

      Torque:

      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Check the torque in an hour after tightening and confirm that it is 1.8 N*m or higher.
