DIESEL THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ELECTRIC EGR CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK

  3. REMOVE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. DISCONNECT AIR HOSE


    1. A005GWQ

      Loosen the 2 hose clamps and disconnect the air hose.

  5. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR WITH DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY


    1. A005GPE

      Disconnect the throttle body connector and the generator connector.

    2. A005HOL

      Remove the nut.

    3. Disengage the wire harness clamp, and separate the wire harness.

    4. A005IKP

      Disconnect the No. 1 oil hose and the No. 5 vacuum transmitting hose.

    5. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and the intake air connector with diesel throttle body assembly.

  6. REMOVE DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY


    1. A005JPK

      Remove the 4 bolts and the diesel throttle body assembly, gasket and wire harness bracket.
