FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Front Fog Light)

  2. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Front Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  3. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH

      Remove the bolt (w/ front fog light).

    2. Disengage the 7 claws and remove the fog light cover LH.

  4. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  5. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM


    1. A005IKY

      Disengage the 4 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

  6. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Disengage the 12 claws and remove the radiator grille.

  7. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE

      Disengage the 14 claws and remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER

      Remove the 6 screws and the front spoiler cover.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper hole cover.

  10. REMOVE HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL SEAL


    1. A005H4L

      Remove the 3 clips.

    2. While pulling the hood to front end panel seal, peel off the double sided tape, then remove the hood to front end panel seal.

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A005IVF

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A005M9X

      Remove the screw.

    2. A005MCO

      Disengage the clip and 2 claws and remove the front bumper side retainer LH.

  13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. SEPARATE THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

      Disengage the 2 clamps and separate the thermistor assembly.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL


    1. A005I1A

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 radiator side air seal.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 side.

  17. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION LH

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the radiator support extension LH.

  18. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  19. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. A005LFC

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 3 clamps.

    3. A005HDW

      Remove the 6 bolts.

    4. Remove the 4 nuts and the front bumper reinforcement.

  20. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 BUMPER STONE DEFLECTOR BRACKET (for LH Side)


    1. A005GSD

      Remove the 2 nuts and the front No. 1 bumper stone deflector bracket.

  21. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 BUMPER STONE DEFLECTOR BRACKET (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  22. REMOVE FRONT LOWER BUMPER ABSORBER


    1. A005KYF

      Remove the 6 bolts and the 6 clips.

    2. A005HEG

      Disengage the 4 guides and remove the front lower bumper absorber.
