Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT BACK-UP LIGHT SOCKET PLUG

    Front view of wire harness connector

    (to Rear Light Assembly RH)

    1. Disconnect the connector from the rear light assembly RH.

    2. Check that the back-up light comes on.

      Standard:
      Tester Connection Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) →Terminal 1 (B)

      Battery positive (-) →Terminal 2 (E)

      		 Back-up light comes on

      Tech Tips

      Use a new bulb or know good one.

  2. INSPECT REAR FOG LIGHT SOCKET PLUG

    (to Rear Light Assembly RH)

    1. Disconnect the connector from the rear light assembly RH.

    2. Check that the rear fog light comes on.

      Standard:
      Tester Connection Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) →Terminal 1 (B)

      Battery positive (-) →Terminal 2 (E)

      		 Rear Fog light comes on

      Use a new bulb or know good one.
