REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY LH

   
   
   1. 

      Text in Illustration

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Combination Light Lens and Body LH)

      Apply battery voltage to the rear combination light lens and body LH and check that the light comes on.

      Standard
      Tester Connection Condition Battery positive (+) → 3 (TL) Battery negative (-) → 1 (E) Tail light comes on Battery positive (+) → 2 (B) Battery negative (-) → 1 (E) Stop light comes on

2. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

   
   

   1. Reconnect the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly LH to the rear combination light lens and body LH.

   2.

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Combination Light Socket and Wire Sub-assembly LH)

      Apply battery voltage to the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly LH and check that the light comes on.

      Standard
      Tester Connection Condition Battery positive (+) → 1 (B) Battery negative (-) → 3 (E) Stop light comes on Battery positive (+) → 2 (TL) Battery negative (-) → 3 (E) Tail light comes on Battery positive (+) → 4 (TRN) Battery negative (-) → 3 (E) Turn signal light comes on

      Tech Tips

      Use a new bulb or known good one.

3. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY RH
