STOP LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER AIR BAG (w/ Knee Airbag)

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Knee Airbag)

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER TRAY (w/o Knee Airbag)

    INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM > LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL > REMOVAL > SEPARATE HOOD LOCK CONTOROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Knee Airbag)

  7. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A005KL7

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Turn the stop light switch assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the stop light switch assembly.

  8. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH MOUNTING ADJUSTER


    1. A005KK2

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the stop light switch mounting adjuster.
