HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB


    1. Install the discharge headlight bulb.

      Note

      Do not touch the glass part of the bulb.

    2. A005L58E02

      Lock the set spring in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

    3. A005IVG

      Turn the headlight control ECU sub-assembly socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to connect the headlight control ECU sub-assembly socket.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BACK COVER


    1. A005M9A

      Turn the No. 1 headlight back cover in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install it.

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Torque:
    5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
