HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Turn Signal Light Socket)

      Apply battery voltage to the terminals and check that the front turn signal light comes on.

      Standard
      Tester Connection Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 1 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → 2 (E)

      		 Front turn signal light comes on

      Tech Tips

      Use a new bulb or know good one.

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT LH (w/ Daytime Running Light)

      Component without harness connected

      (Headlight Unit Assembly LH)

      Apply battery voltage to the terminals and check that the light comes on.

      Standard
      Tester Connection Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 1 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → 5 (E)

      		 Clearance light comes on

      Battery positive (+) → 3 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → 5 (E)

      		 Daytime running light comes on

  3. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT LH (w/o Daytime Running Light)

      Apply battery voltage to the terminals and check that the light comes on.

      Standard
      Tester Connection Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 1 (B)
