HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Turn Signal Light Socket)

      Apply battery voltage to the terminals and check that the front turn signal light comes on.

      Standard
      Tester Connection Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 1 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → 2 (E)

      		 Front turn signal light comes on

      Tech Tips

      Use a new bulb or know good one.

  2. INSPECT CLEARANCE LIGHT SOCKET (for Halogen Headlight)

      Component without harness connected

      (Clearance Light Socket)

      Apply battery voltage to the terminals and check that the clearance light comes on.

      Standard
      Tester Connection Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 1 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → 2 (E)

      		 Clearance light comes on

      Tech Tips

      Use a new bulb or know good one.

  3. INSPECT HEADLIGHT UNIT LH (for HID Headlight)

      Component without harness connected

      (Headlight Unit LH (for HID Headlight))

      Apply battery voltage to the terminals and check that the clearance light comes on.

      Standard
      Tester Connection Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 4 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → 2 (E)

      		 Clearance light comes on

      Tech Tips

      Use a new bulb or know good one.
