LIGHTING SYSTEM CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS

Note


  • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

  • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

  • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


  1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH INTELLIGENT TESTER

    Tech Tips

    The following items can be customized.


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Utility / Customize / Light Control.

    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      Disp Ex OFF Sen*2, *3 Normal Changes the ambient brightness level required to cancel the dimming of the lights such as the indicator lights of the radio display etc*C. Light2, Light1, Normal, Dark1 or Dark2
      DRL Function*4 ON ON/OFF of the DRL function ON or OFF
      Follow Me Home Lighting Time*3 30 s Changes the low beam headlight lighting time when ignition switch is off and dimmer switch is pulled to flash headlights once. 30 s, 60 s, 90s, or 120s

    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    2. Enter the following menus: Set up / Vehicle.

    3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      Vehicle settings

      Daytime running lights ON/OFF of the DRL function ON or OFF
