FRONT WIPER RUBBER REPLACEMENT

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT WIPER BLADE


    1. Disengage the holder of the front wiper blade.

    2. Remove the front wiper blade from the front wiper arm as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not fold the front wiper arm with the front wiper blade removed. The arm tip could damage the windshield surface.

  2. REMOVE CENTER WIPER BLADE RUBBER

    1. Remove the center wiper blade rubber with the 2 wiper rubber backing plates from the front wiper blade.

    2. A005M4A

      Remove the 2 wiper rubber backing plates from the center wiper blade rubber.

  3. INSTALL CENTER WIPER BLADE RUBBER

    1. Install the 2 wiper rubber backing plates to the center wiper blade rubber.

      Note


      • Align the protrusions on the center wiper blade rubber with the notches in the 2 wiper backing plates.

      • Align the curves of the 2 wiper backing plates with the curve of the windshield glass.

    2. A005IOT

      Install the center wiper blade rubber to the front wiper blade with the tip of the rubber (curved end) facing the axis of the wiper arm.

      Tech Tips

      Firmly push the center wiper blade rubber into the front wiper blade to securely engage them.

  4. INSTALL FRONT WIPER BLADE


    1. Install the front wiper blade as shown in the illustration.

    2. Engage the holder on the front wiper blade.
