HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

   
   

   1. Engage the 4 clamps and the grommet and install the hood lock control cable assembly.

2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

   
   

   1. Engage the 4 clamps and the grommet and install the hood lock control cable assembly.

3. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly to the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

   2. Engage the 3 claws and install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

4. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

   

   
   

   1. Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the hood lock assembly.

   2. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

   3. Install the hood lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:

      7.5 N*m  { 77 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

5. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch)

6. INSPECT HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY

7. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY

8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH (for LHD)

   Click here

9. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RH (for RHD)
