ГИДРАВЛИЧЕСКИЙ КЛАПАН ИЗМЕНЕНИЯ ФАЗ ПРОВЕРКА БЕЗ СНЯТИЯ С АВТОМОБИЛЯ

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Start the engine.

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Inspect the oil control valve (for intake side).

      
      

      1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Control the VVT System (Bank 1).

         
         Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Active Test

         Tester Display
         Control the VVT System (Bank1)

      2. Operate the oil control valve using the GTS, and then check the engine speed.

         OK
         Control Range Specified Condition OFF Normal engine speed ON Rough idle or engine stalls soon after oil control valve switched from OFF to ON

         If the operation is not as specified, check the oil control valve, wire harness and ECM.

      3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Control the VVT System (Bank 2).

         
         Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Active Test

         Tester Display
         Control the VVT System (Bank2)

      4. Operate the oil control valve using the GTS, and then check the engine speed.

         OK
         Control Range Specified Condition OFF Normal engine speed ON Rough idle or engine stalls soon after oil control valve switched from OFF to ON

         If the operation is not as specified, check the oil control valve, wire harness and ECM.

   5. Inspect the oil control valve (for exhaust side).

      
      

      1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Control the VVT Exhaust Linear (Bank 1).

         
         Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Active Test

         Tester Display
         Control the VVT Exhaust Linear (Bank1)

      2. Operate the oil control valve using the GTS, and then check the engine speed.

         OK
         Control Range Specified Condition -100% Normal engine speed 100% Rough idle or engine stalls soon after oil control valve switched to 100%

         If the operation is not as specified, check the oil control valve, wire harness and ECM.

      3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Control the VVT Exhaust Linear (Bank 2).

         
         Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Active Test

         Tester Display
         Control the VVT Exhaust Linear (Bank2)

      4. Operate the oil control valve using the GTS, and then check the engine speed.

         OK
         Control Range Specified Condition -100% Normal engine speed 100% Rough idle or engine stalls soon after oil control valve switched to 100%

         If the operation is not as specified, check the oil control valve, wire harness and ECM.
