PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX (w/ Refrigerated Cool Box)

  2. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Move the shift lever to N.

      Disconnect the transmission control cable end from the transmission floor shift assembly.

      Rotate the socket counterclockwise approximately 180° and, while holding the socket in that position, disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the shift lever retainer.

      Note

      Do not over-rotate the socket as it will come off the internal spring and the transmission control cable assembly will not be reusable.

      Remove the nut and clip, and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the automatic transmission.

      Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the transmission control cable support.

    6. A01A8C7

      Remove the 2 nuts and detach the 3 claws, and then pull out the transmission control cable assembly.
