РАДИАТОР УСТАНОВКА

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL

   
   

   1. 

      Install a new seal to the radiator as shown in the illustration.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR TO SUPPORT SEAL

   
   

   1. 

      Install a new seal to the radiator as shown in the illustration.

3. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Set the radiator in place as shown in the illustration.

   2. Install the radiator with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:

      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

   3. 

      *a

      Upper

      Connect the 2 oil cooler hoses.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure the direction of the hose clamp is as shown in the illustration.

4. INSTALL FAN SHROUD

   
   

   1. Install the fan pulley to the engine water pump.

   2. Place the fan shroud together with the fluid coupling between the radiator and engine.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the radiator core.

   3. 

      *1	Paint Mark

      Align the paint marks on the heads of the engine water pump stud bolts with the paint marks of the same color on the outer edge of the fluid coupling flange and install the fluid coupling to the engine water pump.

   4. Temporarily install the fluid coupling fan to the engine water pump with the 4 nuts. Tighten the nuts as much as possible by hand.

   5. 

      Attach the claws of the fan shroud to the radiator as shown in the illustration.

   6. Install the fan shroud with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

   7. Install the fan and generator V belt Click here.

   8. Tighten the 4 nuts of the fluid coupling.

      Torque:

      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

5. CONNECT OIL COOLER TUBE

   
   

   1. 

      Connect the oil cooler tube with the 2 bolts, and attach the claw to close the flexible hose clamp.

      Torque:

      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

6. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the radiator reservoir with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:

      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the reservoir hose.

7. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

   
   
   1. 

      *1	Paint Mark
      *2	Protrusion
      *a	Upper

      Connect the No. 2 radiator hose and attach the clamp.

      Tech Tips

      
      

      • Make sure the paint mark of the No. 2 radiator hose is facing upward.

      • Make sure the direction of the hose clamp is as shown in the illustration.

   2.

      *2	Protrusion
      *a	Front
      *b	Upper

      Connect the No. 2 radiator hose so that its paint mark aligns with the water inlet housing protrusion as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      
      

      • Make sure the paint mark of the No. 2 radiator hose is facing upward.

      • Make sure the direction of the hose clamp is as shown in the illustration.

8. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

   
   
   1. 

      *1	Paint Mark
      *2	Protrusion
      *a	Front
      *b	Upper

      Connect the No. 1 radiator hose to the water inlet housing shown in the illustration labeled A.

      Tech Tips

      
      

      • Make sure the paint mark of the No. 1 radiator hose is facing upward.

      • Make sure the direction of the hose clamp is as shown in the illustration.

   2. Connect the No. 1 radiator hose so that its paint mark aligns with the radiator protrusion as shown in the illustration labeled B.

      • Make sure the paint mark of the No. 1 radiator hose is facing upward.

      • Make sure the direction of the hose clamp is as shown in the illustration.

9. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

   
   

   1. Attach the 3 claws.

   2. Install the radiator side deflector with the clip.

10. INSTALL RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH

    
    

    1. Attach the 3 claws.

    2. Install the radiator side deflector with the clip.

11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER

12. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

13. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

14. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

15. INSTALL LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER

    Click here

16. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

17. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL
