WASHER MOTOR (for Rear Side) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT REAR WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the washer jar.

    2. Disconnect the rear washer motor and pump assembly connector.

      Tech Tips

      The check should be performed with the rear washer motor and pump assembly installed on the washer jar.

    3. Fill the washer jar with washer fluid.

      (Rear Washer Motor and Pump Assembly)

      Connect an auxiliary battery positive (+) lead to terminal 1 of the rear washer motor, and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2.

    5. Check that washer fluid flows from the washer jar.

      OK
      Washer fluid flows from the washer jar.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear washer motor and pump assembly.
