WINDSHIELD DEICER SWITCH REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH (for LHD)


    1. A003YSW

      Disconnect the front door opening trim weatherstrip.

    2. Remove the residual weatherstrip sealant from the body of the vehicle using cleaner.

      Note

      Remove the sealant completely. Any residual sealant may transfer to other areas of the vehicle when removing/installing the interior parts.

  2. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH (for RHD)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (for LHD)

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 claws, clip and 4 guides, and remove the instrument side panel LH.

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (for RHD)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 8 claws and clip.

    2. Disconnect each connector and remove the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE FRONT WIPER DEICER SWITCH (OUTER MIRROR HEATER SWITCH ASSEMBLY) (for LHD)


    1. A003ZKW

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front wiper deicer switch (outer mirror heater switch assembly) as shown in the illustration.

  7. REMOVE FRONT WIPER DEICER SWITCH (OUTER MIRROR HEATER SWITCH ASSEMBLY) (for RHD)

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front wiper deicer switch (outer mirror heater switch assembly) as shown in the illustration.
