AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM IG Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

Power is supplied to the air conditioning amplifier assembly when the power switch is turned on (IG).

The power is used for operating the air conditioning amplifier assembly, servo motors, etc.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

Tech Tips

Turn the power switch on (IG) before inspection. Check the IG1 No. 1 relay or battery if the power source does not change to on (IG).

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H85-1 (IG+) - Body ground Power switch off Below 1 V
      H85-1 (IG+) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H85-14 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
