FRONT SEATBACK HEATER (for Power Seat) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY)


    1. A003Y25

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover (front seatback heater assembly) to the separate type front seatback pad with 14 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover (front seatback heater assembly).

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover (front seatback heater assembly).

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Temporarily install the separate type front seatback cover with pad to the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

      Attach the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover to the front seatback spring assembly in the order indicated in the illustration.

    3. Install the separate type front seatback cover bracket with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      CAUTION:


      • For vehicles with side airbags, the separate type front seatback cover must be securely installed. Otherwise, the side airbags may not deploy properly.

      • Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.

      • Install the bracket securely.

    4. A003YOT

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    5. A003WJ0

      Engage the fastener.

    6. A003XWE

      Close the 2 fasteners.

    7. A003V1K

      Using hog ring pliers, install 5 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.

    8. A003WWS

      Engage the 2 fasteners.
