FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)


    1. Disconnect each connector.

    2. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

      Disengage the clamp.

    4. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. Disconnect each connector.

    2. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

    3. A003ZV0

      Disengage the clamp.

    4. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.

  3. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Remove the seat adjuster cover cap.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  4. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  5. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  6. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides, and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

    4. A003XZF

      Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

      Separate the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

    2. A003ZTDE01

      Disengage the 8 claws and guide (1).

    3. Disengage the clip and guide (2), and disconnect the front seat cushion shield.

      Disengage the 2 claws and open the wire harness cover.

    5. Disconnect the wire harness from the wire harness cover.

    6. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    7. w/o Seat Position Memory System:


      1. Disconnect the connector and remove the front seat cushion shield.

    8. w/ Seat Position Memory System:


      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the front seat cushion shield.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

      Separate the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

      Disengage the 8 claws and guide (1).

    3. Disengage the clip and guide (2), and disconnect the front seat cushion shield.

      Disengage the 2 claws and open the wire harness cover.

    5. Disconnect the wire harness from the wire harness cover.

    6. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    7. Disconnect the connector and remove the front seat cushion shield.

  9. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH

      Remove the 3 screws and the front power seat switch.

  10. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the lumbar switch.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A003ZL4

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

      3. A003WRF

        Disconnect the connector.

      4. Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

    3. A003XD5

      Disengage the 4 hooks.

    4. A003WAV

      Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. A003Z2L

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A003WQE

      Remove the 21 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Disengage the 2 fasteners.

    2. A003Z7P

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

    3. A003X8F

      Open the 2 fasteners.

    4. A003WJ0

      Disengage the fastener.

    5. A003YOT

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    6. A003Z38

      Remove the nut and disconnect the front seatback cover bracket.

    7. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. A003WQZ

      Remove the 14 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Detach the 3 pieces of double-sided tape and remove the front seat cushion cover.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Disengage the guide and remove the upper reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

      Disengage the guide and remove the upper reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

  23. REMOVE LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the lower reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  24. REMOVE LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the lower reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  25. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side)

      Separate the wire harness from the 2 hooks.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. A003WDS

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw, nut and seat position airbag sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

      Remove the seat position airbag sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.

  26. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)


    1. A003Y7N

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Driver Side)


    1. A003YWZ

      Disconnect the 5 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the front seat wire.

  28. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. A003YAH

      Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 4 clamps to remove the front seat wire.

  29. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Driver Side)


    1. A003VN0

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the No. 2 front seat wire.

  30. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp to remove the No. 2 front seat wire.

  31. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts and the separate type front seatback spring assembly.
