DESCRIPTION

When the position control ECU and switch assembly does not receive a sensor signal despite upward or downward movement of the seat by power seat motor operation, this DTC is stored.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (LIFTER MOTOR)


    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    4. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Body / Driver Seat / Active Test.

    6. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the intelligent tester.

  2. CHECK POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY (LIFTER MOTOR CIRCUIT)


    1. Disconnect the X3*1 or W6*2 lifter motor connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      • *2: for RHD

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    2. Check if the seat cushion spring moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the lifter motor connector terminals.
