BLOCKING SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK TELEPHONE TRANSCEIVER ASSEMBLY

    A003W12E01

    1. Disconnect the H149 telephone transceiver assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      H149-6 (IG2) - H149-9 (E) B - W-B Ignition power supply Power switch on (IG) 9 to 16 V
      H149-12 (+B) - H149-9 (E) LG - W-B +B power supply Power switch off 9 to 16 V
      H149-9 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      • If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the H149 telephone transceiver assembly connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

The result of checks should be compared with the standard voltage or resistance for that pair of terminals, displayed in the "Specified Condition" column. The illustration above can be used as a reference to identify the power management control ECU terminal locations.
