ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM DTC CHECK / CLEAR

Tech Tips


  • When using the intelligent tester with the power switch off to troubleshoot: Connect the intelligent tester to the vehicle and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 second or less intervals until communication between the intelligent tester and vehicle begins.

  • Refer to the intelligent tester operator's manual for further details.


  1. CHECK FOR IMMOBILISER DTC


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Entry&Start / DTC.

    5. Check for DTCs.

  2. CHECK FOR POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU DTC


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC.

    5. Check for DTCs.

  3. CHECK FOR DTC (TELEPHONE TRANSCEIVER ASSEMBLY [TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER])*


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Telematics Transceiver / DTC.

    5. Check for DTCs.

  4. CLEAR IMMOBILISER DTC


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Entry&Start / DTC / Clear.

    5. Clear the DTCs.

  5. CLEAR POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU DTC


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC / Clear.

    5. Clear the DTCs.

  6. CLEAR DTC (TELEPHONE TRANSCEIVER ASSEMBLY [TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER])*


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Telematics Transceiver / DTC / Clear.

    5. Clear the DTCs.
