DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) receives switch signals from the door control switch and activates the door lock motor on each door according to these signals.

  1. Click here

    READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DOOR CONTROL SWITCH)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.

      Remove the door control switch (Click here).

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      4 (L) - 3 (E) Locked Below 1 Ω
      4 (L) - 3 (E) off 10 kΩ or higher
      2 (UL) - 3 (E) Unlocked Below 1 Ω
      2 (UL) - 3 (E) off 10 kΩ or higher

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DOOR CONTROL SWITCH - MAIN BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      J7-2 (UL) - H16-10 (+B1) Always Below 1 Ω
      J7-4 (L) - H16-9 (L1) Always Below 1 Ω

      J7-4 (L) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
