POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU (for LHD)


    1. A003XRN

      Engage the 2 claws to install the power management control ECU as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH (for LHD)


    1. Install the ECU integration box RH with the 2 nuts and bolt.

    2. Engage the clamp to connect the wire harness.

    3. Connect each connector.

  3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the clamp.

    3. Engage the 5 claws.

    4. Install the glove compartment door assembly with the 4 screws <C>.

  4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Check that the power switch is off.

    2. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

      CAUTION:

      Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    3. A003ZOW

      Connect the airbag connector to the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly.

      Note

      When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

    4. Push in the lock to install the airbag connector.

    5. Temporarily install the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly with the 6 claws and 2 guides.

    6. Install the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Confirm that the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly is installed securely without any excessive gaps and is not protruding outward.

  5. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the clamp.

    3. Engage the guide, claw and 2 clips to install the No. 2 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.

  6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (for LHD)


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. A003YNR

      Engage the 4 guides, clip and 3 claws to install the instrument side panel RH.

  7. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for LHD)

  8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for LHD)

  10. INSTALL POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU (for RHD)


    1. A003WUI

      Engage the 2 claws to install the power management control ECU as shown in the illustration.

  11. INSTALL ECU INTEGRATION BOX LH (for RHD)


    1. Install the ECU integration box LH with the nut and bolt.

    2. Engage the clamp to connect the wire harness.

    3. Connect each connector.

  12. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the clamp.

    3. Engage the 5 claws.

    4. Install the glove compartment door assembly with the 4 screws <C>.

  13. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. Check that the power switch is off.

    2. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

      CAUTION:

      Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

      Connect the airbag connector to the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly.

      Note

      When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

    4. Push in the lock to install the airbag connector.

    5. Temporarily install the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly with the 6 claws and 2 guides.

    6. Install the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Confirm that the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly is installed securely without any excessive gaps and is not protruding outward.

  14. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the clamp.

    3. Engage the 2 guides, claw and 2 clips to install the No. 2 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.

  15. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (for RHD)


    1. A003Y0E

      Engage the 4 guides, clip and 3 claws to install the instrument side panel LH.

  16. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for RHD)


    1. Engage the claw and clip.

      Note


      • Be sure to engage the clip securely.

      • If there is any damage, replace the garnish clip with a new one.

    2. Install the cowl side trim sub-assembly LH with the clip.

  17. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for RHD)


    1. Engage the 4 claws, 2 guides and 4 clips to install the front door scuff plate LH.

  18. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH (for RHD)

  19. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  20. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD UPPER NO. 3 PLATE


    1. Engage the 4 claws and 2 guides to install the rear floor board upper No. 3 plate.

  21. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH


    1. Engage the 6 guides.

    2. Install the deck floor box RH with the clip.

  22. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD


    1. Install the rear No. 3 floor board.

  23. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX


    1. Install the rear deck floor box.

  24. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD


    1. Install the rear No. 2 floor board.

  25. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK
