GARAGE DOOR OPENER TRANSMITTER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Open the overhead console.

    2. A003VMOE01

      Disengage the 4 clips and 3 guides as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the map light assembly.

  2. REMOVE GARAGE DOOR OPENER TRANSMITTER (w/o Sliding Roof)

      *1 Tape

      Peel the strip of the tape used to secure the wire harness only to the extent that allows removal of the garage door opener transmitter.

      Tech Tips

      Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the map light assembly so that the tape can be reused.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Remove the 2 screws and garage door opener transmitter.

  3. REMOVE GARAGE DOOR OPENER TRANSMITTER (w/ Sliding Roof)

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. Remove the 2 screws and garage door opener transmitter.
