INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precautions for G-BOOK Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Disconnect the H132 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the H133 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H132-7 (VOR+) - H133-3 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H132-6 (VOR-) - H133-5 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H132-3 (VOT+) - H133-7 (VOR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H132-5 (VOT-) - H133-6 (VOR-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H132-7 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H132-6 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H132-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H132-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  2. INSPECT MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

      Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H132-3 (VOT+) - Body ground Calling while using the operator service A waveform synchronized with the sent voice is output.
      H132-5 (VOT-) - Body ground Calling while using the operator service A waveform synchronized with the sent voice is output.
