  1. CHECK PROBLEM SYMPTOM (WARNING NOTIFICATION FUNCTION)


    1. Check the problem symptom.


      1. Check the problem symptom of the warning notification function.

        • The warning notification function sends information to the G-BOOK center through communication.

        • Carefully confirm the conditions that caused the malfunction in order to determine if a temporary problem with the radio wave caused the malfunction.

  6. INSPECT METER WARNING LIGHT


    1. Check if a warning light on the combination meter assembly comes on or a warning message on the multi-information display is displayed even when there is no problem.

      There are no problems with warning lights or warning messages.

      Tech Tips

      The warning notification function of the G-BOOK system uses the warning notification signals sent and received by the meter and gauge system. Therefore, if the meter and gauge system is not operating normally, the warning notification function will not operate normally.

  7. INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: System Select / CAN Bus Check.

    4. Check that all ECUs and sensors that use CAN communication are connected.

  8. CHECK DTC


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Utility / All Codes.
