DESCRIPTION

If the telematics transceiver detects an error in the communication between the telematics transceiver and the map light assembly as a result of the telematics transceiver self check, this DTC will be stored.

  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.


    NEXT

  2. CHECK DTC


    1. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again Click here.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

      Disconnect the T6 map light assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T6-20 (SIG1) - T6-16 (GND) Emergency call switch not operated 410 to 414 Ω
      T6-20 (SIG1) - T6-16 (GND) Emergency call switch operated 81 to 83 Ω

  4. INSPECT HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the H145 telematics transceiver connector.

    2. Disconnect the T6 map light assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H145-27 (SIG1) - T6-20 (SIG1) Always Below 1 Ω
      H145-26 (SIG-) - T6-16 (GND) Always Below 1 Ω
      H145-27 (SIG1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H145-26 (SIG-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
