INSPECTION PROCEDURE

When replacing the navigation computer sub-assembly or telematics transceiver, perform vehicle contract setting (w/ G-BOOK System) Click here.

  1. CONFIRM MODEL


    1. Choose the model to be inspected.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR


    1. Disconnect the H60 navigation computer sub-assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the T6 map light assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H60-20 (SNS2) - T6-11 (SNS2) Always Below 1 Ω
      H60-4 (MACC) - T6-14 (MACC) Always Below 1 Ω
      H60-5 (MIN+) - T6-13 (MCO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      H60-6 (MIN-) - T6-12 (MCO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      H60-20 (SNS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H60-4 (MACC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H60-5 (MIN+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H60-6 (MIN-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H60-7 (SGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  3. INSPECT NAVIGATION COMPUTER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Reconnect the H60 navigation computer sub-assembly connector.

    2. Reconnect the T6 map light assembly connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    5. Proceed to the next step based on the inspection result.

    2. Disconnect the H145 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  7. INSPECT NAVIGATION COMPUTER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the H145 telematics transceiver connector.

  10. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Reconnect the H60 navigation computer sub-assembly connector.

    2. Reconnect the H145 telematics transceiver connector (w/ G-BOOK System).

      Reconnect the T6 map light assembly connector.

    4. Turn the power switch on (ACC).

    5. Connect an oscilloscope to terminals 13 (MCO+) and 12 (MCO-) of the T6 map light assembly connector.

    6. Check the waveform of the telephone microphone assembly using the oscilloscope.
