NAVIGATION SYSTEM (for HDD), Diagnostic DTC:B156E, B156B

DTC Code DTC Name
B156E No Response from Multi-media Interface ECU
B156B Multi-media Interface ECU Disconnected

DESCRIPTION

The navigation computer sub-assembly and multi-media interface ECU assembly are connected by the AVC-LAN communication line.

When an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the navigation computer sub-assembly and multi-media interface ECU assembly, these DTCs will be stored.

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
B156E No response to the diagnostic memory request from the master unit.
  • Multi-media interface ECU assembly power source circuit

  • AVC-LAN circuit between navigation computer sub-assembly and multi-media interface ECU assembly

  • Multi-media interface ECU assembly

  • Navigation computer sub-assembly

B156B*1 A device that is listed in the AVC-LAN connected device record of the master unit is missing.

Tech Tips

  • *1: Even if no fault is present, this DTC may be stored depending on the auxiliary battery condition or hybrid system start voltage.

  • The navigation computer sub-assembly is the master unit.
