DESCRIPTION

The telematics transceiver sends a mute signal to the stereo component amplifier assembly.

The stereo component amplifier assembly controls the volume according to the mute signal from the telematics transceiver.

  1. Click here

    INSPECT TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER


    1. A003V7VE19

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H145-17 (MUTE) - Body ground

      Power switch on (ACC), audio system is playing

      → Emergency call mode

      Above 3.5 V

      → Below 1 V

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Disconnect the H58 stereo component amplifier assembly connector (for 10 Speakers).

    2. Disconnect the k1 stereo component amplifier assembly connector (for 13 Speakers).

    3. Disconnect the H145 telematics transceiver connector.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Table 2. for 10 Speakers
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H58-5 (TMUT) - H145-17 (MUTE) Always Below 1 Ω
      H58-5 (TMUT) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Table 3. for 13 Speakers
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      k1-2 (TMUT) - H145-17 (MUTE) Always Below 1 Ω
      k1-2 (TMUT) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY


    1. Reconnect the H58 stereo component amplifier assembly connector (for 10 Speakers).

    2. Reconnect the k1 stereo component amplifier assembly connector (for 13 Speakers).

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
