INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for 10 Speakers
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H51-20 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      for 6 Speakers
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H48-7 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      H47-20 (LRHD) - Body ground*1 Always Below 1 Ω

      • *1: for RHD

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      for 10 Speakers
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H51-1 (B) - H51-20 (GND) Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      H51-11 (ACC) - H51-20 (GND) Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      for 6 Speakers
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H48-4 (B) - H48-7 (GND) Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      H48-3 (ACC) - H48-7 (GND) Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
