DESCRIPTION
When the driving support ECU is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information (destination, steering wheel position, etc.) from the main body ECU. When the country specification information in the driving support ECU assembly and main body ECU do not match, DTC C1A02 is output.

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Select the "CAN Bus Check" from the "System Selection Menu" screen on the intelligent tester.
Select "Communication Malfunction DTC" from the "CAN Bus Check" screen, and then select "Enter".

CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Clear the DTCs Click here.
Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
Drive the vehicle at a speed of 50 km/h (30 mph) and 170 km/h (105 mph).
Turn the cruise control switch (ON-OFF button) on.
Push the -/SET switch to activate the cruise control.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / DTC.
Read the DTCs.
