MONITOR DESCRIPTION

The ECM monitors the input signals of the No. 1 throttle position sensor. When the ECM monitors the input signal of the No. 1 throttle position sensor, if the input signal and control signal deviate, the DTC is stored.

1. Difference of main throttle position and sub throttle position 0.3 V or higher
2. Value of main brake switch signal and sub brake switch signal Different

CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN


  1. Turn the power switch off.

  2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal and wait for 1 minute.

  3. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

  4. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds or more.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ OUTPUT DTC (DTC P060E)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the tester on.

    4. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    5. Turn the power switch off.

    6. Turn the tester off.

    7. Disconnect the tester.

    8. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal and wait for 1 minute.

    9. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    10. Connect the tester to the DLC3.

    11. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    12. Turn the tester on.

    13. Wait 16 seconds or more.

    14. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / DTC.

    15. Read the DTCs.
