PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU

   
   

   1. Disconnect the multi-media interface ECU connector.

   2.

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E100-12 (+B) - E100-7 (GND) Power switch off 11 to 14 V E100-11 (ACC) - E100-7 (GND) Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

   
   

   1. Disconnect the radio receiver assembly connector.

   2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E100-11 (ACC) - E99-11 (ACC) Always Below 1 Ω E100-12 (+B) - E99-12 (+B) Always Below 1 Ω E100-7 (GND) - E99-7 (GND) Always Below 1 Ω E100-11 (ACC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher E100-12 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher E100-7 (GND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
