COMBINATION SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect EV switch

        (Combination Switch Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        E115-1 (S) - E115-3 (E) EV switch operated Below 1 Ω
        E115-1 (S) - E115-3 (E) EV switch not operated 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.

    2. Inspect ECO MODE switch

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        E115-2 (ECU) - E115-3 (E) ECO MODE switch operated Below 1 Ω
        E115-2 (ECU) - E115-3 (E) ECO MODE switch not operated 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.

    3. Inspect PWR MODE switch

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        E115-8 (PWR) - E115-3 (E) PWR MODE switch operated Below 1 Ω
        E115-8 (PWR) - E115-3 (E) PWR MODE switch not operated 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.

    4. Inspect illumination


      1. Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the switch, and check the illumination condition of the combination switch assembly.
