REAR BUMPER REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A003T3H

      Install the reflex reflector assembly with the nut.

  2. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER GUARD


    1. A003S2E

      Engage the 2 claws and install the rear bumper guard.

    2. A003SPB

      Install the 6 outside moulding retainers.

    3. A003US7

      Install the 4 clips.

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A003ULZ

      Install the rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  6. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. A003TQL

      Install the rear No. 1 bumper reinforcement with the 8 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER RETAINER UPPER LH


    1. A003TOQ

      Engage the 2 claws and install the rear bumper retainer upper LH.

    2. Install the screw.

  8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER RETAINER UPPER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  9. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A003U5T

      Engage the 2 claws and install the rear bumper side retainer LH.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  10. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  11. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. for Corner Side:


      1. A003TLLE02

        *1 Keyhole
        *2 Convex part

        Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

        Note

        Do not damage the rear bumper with the convex part when installing the retainer.

        Tech Tips


        • When installing the retainer, align the keyhole and convex part as shown in the illustration.

        • The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

    2. for Center Side:

        Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

        Note

        Do not damage the rear bumper with the convex part when installing the retainer.

        Tech Tips


        • When installing the retainer, align the keyhole and convex part as shown in the illustration.

        • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  12. INSTALL ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. for Corner Side:


      1. Engage the 2 claws to install the ultrasonic sensor clip.

        Tech Tips

        The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

    2. for Center Side:


      1. Engage the 2 claws to install the ultrasonic sensor clip.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  13. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. for Corner Side:


      1. Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

        Tech Tips

        The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

      2. Connect the connector.

        Tech Tips

        The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

    2. for Center Side:


      1. Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      2. Connect the connector.

      3. Engage the clamp.
