REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. for Corner Side:


      1. A003UE9

        Disconnect the connector.

        Tech Tips

        The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

      2. A003TVJ

        Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

        Tech Tips

        The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

    2. for Center Side:


      1. A003S6S

        Disengage the clamp.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      2. A003TY0

        Disconnect the connector.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      3. A003UBW

        Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  2. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. for Corner Side:


      1. A003TP1

        Disengage the 2 claws and remove the ultrasonic sensor clip.

        Tech Tips

        The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

    2. for Center Side:


      1. A003TMN

        Disengage the 2 claws and remove the ultrasonic sensor clip.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. for Corner Side:


      1. A003TGN

        Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

        Tech Tips

        The illustration is for the LH side. The RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

    2. for Center Side:


      1. A003U6R

        Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A003U5T

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER RETAINER UPPER LH


    1. A003TOQ

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper retainer upper LH.

  7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER RETAINER UPPER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  8. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. A003TQL

      Remove the 8 bolts and rear No. 1 bumper reinforcement.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A003ULZ

      Remove the 3 bolts and rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER GUARD


    1. A003US7

      Remove the 4 clips.

    2. A003SPB

      Remove the 6 outside moulding retainers.

    3. A003S2E

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper guard.

  12. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A003T3H

      Remove the nut and reflex reflector assembly.

  13. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
