REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

      Front view of wire harness connector

      (to Rear Combination Light Assembly LH)

      Disconnect the connector from the rear combination light assembly LH.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L36-4 (B) - L36-5 (E) Light control switch OFF Below 1 V
      Light control switch in TAIL 11 to 14 V
      L36-3 (B) - L36-5 (E) Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V
      L36-8 (B) - L36-5 (E) Turn signal switch OFF Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG) and turn signal switch in LH 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
      L36-6 (B) - L36-5 (E) Power switch on (READY) and reverse (R) not selected Below 1 V
      Power switch on (READY) and reverse (R) selected 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there is a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  2. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

      Disconnect the connector from the rear combination light assembly RH.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M18-6 (B) - M18-5 (E) Light control switch OFF Below 1 V
      Light control switch in TAIL 11 to 14 V
      M18-7 (B) - M18-5 (E) Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V
      M18-1 (B) - M18-5 (E) Turn signal switch OFF Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG) and turn signal switch in RH 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
      M18-4 (B) - M18-5 (E) Power switch on (READY) and reverse (R) not selected Below 1 V
      Power switch on (READY) and reverse (R) selected 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there is a malfunction on the wire harness side.
