RELAY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER RELAY (DIM)

    1. A003TGXE04

Remove the headlight dimmer relay from the engine room relay block.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
3 - 5 Voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher
      3 - 5 Voltage is applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.

  2. INSPECT REAR FOG LIGHT RELAY (RR FOG)

    1. A003U7SE87

Remove the rear fog light relay from the No. 5 relay block.

  3. INSPECT DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY (DRL)

    1. A003U7SE87

Remove the daytime running light relay from the engine room relay block.

  4. INSPECT STOP LIGHT CONTROL RELAY (STOP LP)

    1. A003RVVE02

Remove the stop light control relay from the engine room relay block.

      3 - 4 Voltage is not applied between terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω
3 - 4 Voltage is applied between terminals 1 and 2 10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
