HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION FOR HEADLIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT (for HID Headlight)

  2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT (for HID Headlight)

      Remove the rear floor mat.

  3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (for HID Headlight)

      Remove the rear deck floor box.

  4. REMOVE BATTERY BOX COVER (for HID Headlight)


    1. A003UZD

      Disengage the 3 guides and remove the battery box cover.

  5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for HID Headlight)

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

      *1 Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. A003RVRE01

      Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Remove the clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Remove the 4 bolts and 3 clips.

    5. A003TD1

      Remove the 6 screws.

    6. A003RJX

      Disengage the 6 claws and remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

    7. Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

    8. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:


      1. Drain washer fluid Click here.

  7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. A003RRC

      Remove the 3 bolts and screw.

    2. Disconnect the connectors and remove the headlight assembly.
